TV screen size converter

Inch is the term used to specify the size of tvs. But how big is a 55 inch TV? How high and how wide does it measure? This tool helps you convert a given screen size from inches (diagonal) to width and height in centimeters. The inch converter will give you the answer to how much space your TV really takes.

How to use it?

Enter the screen size of the TV you want to know the size of in inches and press "convert". The converter will show you the width, height and diagonal dimensions in centimeters.

Note: Although we usually define screen sizes in inches, this does not automatically match with a given screen size (width / height). Depending on the TV screen standard (PAL, NTSC, SECAM, HDTV, Plasma, LCD, LED, etc.), the diagonal may be the same even though the ratio between width and height varies.

How to figure this out?

Formula to calculate width = (4/5) * (inch * 2.54)

Formula to calculate height = (3/5) * (inch * 2.54)

Formula to calculate the diagonal = inches * 2.54
